Bio

I was born and raised in a lovely family of five, in Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2010 I graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. For the next ten years, I had been practicing as a Small Animal Vet in Greece.

In 2018 I suffered from a condition called 'Golfer's elbow' in both arms, a type of tendinitis that caused a lot of pain. The successful treatment of my condition with physiotherapy made me realize I wanted to learn more about this field and apply this knowledge to animals. In order to fulfill my dream, I applied for a course in the UK. Unfortunately, I was not accepted on my first attempt, so I decided to move to the UK and try again.

Since January 2020, I live in Hastings, East Sussex, and I work as a Small Animal Vet Surgeon at Sussex Coast Vets.

In September 2020, after applying for the second time for the same course, I was accepted and started an MSc course in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Writtle University College.

Other Interests

Radio Broadcasting and Dance are two very important parts of myself. These activities helped me develop my communication skills and creativity.

Exercise and having a healthy diet are essential in my everyday life. For all Veterinary Professionals, our body is a principal tool for our job, that is why I do my best to keep it in the best condition. That also helps me keep balanced mental health and well-being.
