Feedback From My Peers

Georgia, Your site is very personalised but still professional. I like the pictures you have used and the overall layout is easy to navigate.

How can this e-portfolio be improved?: The tabs on the first page that have some text on as an introduction, having them be full sentences would look better in my opinion. Your poster could be more personalised towards you rather than the practise but it still looks really good and stands out well.

Good luck!

I really like the way you structured your e-portfolio, it is easy to follow. There is a nice balance of pictures you have added. It gives the portfolio a very personal feel but it still looks professional as well. I appreciate how you divided you about page into suctions such as volunteering, it is a very interesting read as it says a lot about you as a person and a professional and it is very concise. I would suggest converting your CV to PDF so when someone downloads it, the format will not changes and no changes can be made to the original. Your PDP, although not finished yet, is nicely interactive, eye catching and honest. Your reflections show that you have done some research to support your thoughts. I like how you included the importance of physical condition of the therapist and that you are aware of it. Make sure your references go at the end of the sentence but before the dot. The other thing I spotted is that there is not your name at the very bottom of your portfolio. Overall, well done and I am looking forward to the finished portfolio!

Hi Georgia,

I really love the layout of your portfolio, it is very professional but personalised to you which is great. Very easy to navigate. I also love the ambition shown with the poster. Great swot analysis and honest detailed reflections.

Just some finishing touches you need to add, everything you have so far is great.

Well done:)

Hi Georgia,

I love the style of your portfolio; it is professional-looking and easy to navigate through. You have a lot of visual aspects such as your photo gallery, which is a great way to get to understand you on a personal level. Your reflections are well written, reflecting on your experiences in a professional perspective and the relevance to veterinary physiotherapy. Your poster is smart, and clear without being too wordy, making it eye-catching for potential customers! Similarly, your PDP SWOT analysis is easy to follow but remains in-depth.

Overall, your e-portfolio is great, some areas are still unfinished, but I look forward to seeing your finished website.

Good luck,

Ellie

Hi Georgia,

I really like your portfolio, there is a consistent brand and colour scheme and it is easy to follow. Your PDP is clear and detailed. I like your Bio and the addition of pictures and personal info to get to know you more. Your reflections are detailed and honest and the addition of pictures makes them interesting to read.

It would be nice to see the slides from the journal presentation on the page (even if small).

Hi Georgia,
I love the flow and theme of your portfolio! It is clear and consistent, easy to follow and looks very professional. I like your PDP and that you have clear goals for your future that you have set yourself tasks to achieve. Your reflections are honest yet focused and clearly show how you are going to progress throughout. One note about the reflections, I could easily access them from the drop down menu, but I couldn't access them from the box menu.
Well done!!

Georgia – Wow!

Your e-portfolio is captivating, inspirational and highly professional! It draws the reader not only into a personal but professional journey that we can only aspire to.

Your use of personal interests (which I can relate to) is a really nice touch and enhanced my own apple playlist nicely!

The overall appearance of your portfolio is well thought out and provides a clear and concise journey for the reader.

I am looking forward to following your journey and seeing the positive outcomes of not only this course but the acupuncture course too.

Hi Abigail,

The navigation on your e-portfolio was very easy. I would like to point out a few things that might need some improvement. The images' resolution is not very good in those used as a background, possibly because of the large scale. You can try to edit them separately and then add them again on your site. Also, when the main title is used as a layer over the photos needs to be in a colour easy to distinguish from the background. At the photos of you on your homepage, I cannot see your face, maybe you could minimize them slightly. Another thing I noticed is that in your academic writing, the screenshot cuts the text, so you should probably try to place it in a better way. One last thing that might need to change is the size of your logo, it is so tiny on the toolbar that I cannot understand what it is. Apart from the web designing comments, I think that you did a good job, it is a professional e-portfolio with personal information as well.

Hi Ellie,

Your e-portfolio is quite easy to navigate. I believe the colours chosen might not be the best as sometimes I found it tiring to read (e.g. white letters on a black background). I loved your PDP page, SWOT analysis is very clear, and I like that you have used references as well. On the reflection page, I would recommend changing the 'Archive' list to a list with the Reflections' titles. Also, a few more pictures throughout the e-portfolio would help to make it more personal and interesting. Regarding your professional poster, it looks very nice and tidy, but it reminds me more of a professional card.

Good luck!

Hi Chloe,

I loved your e-portfolio! The pictures you chose made it very interesting. Overall, it is very easy to follow and quite interesting. I liked the fact that you used photos and screenshots in your reflections. Your PDP plan is quite analytic, which makes me think that you are very organised, which is a good quality for a professional. The only thing that I believe needs some improvement is your advertisement poster, especially the pdf form of it. I would recommend trying to use another letter font maybe. Good job!

Hi Jasmine,

Your e-portfolio looks nice and tidy. I liked that the homepage is colourful, and I would prefer if the rest of the pages had more colour. Your PDP is impressive and well-structured. I believe it would be easier if you included more pages on the toolbar, for example, one for reflections, one for PDP etc. so that the reader doesn't have to go to the homepage in order to see one of these pages. Lastly, a small detail, on the PDP hover box at the homepage, the mouse cursor needs to be over the word 'personal' to open. I think it would be easier if it opens when the cursor goes over any word of the text.

Good luck!

Hi Paige,

I think you have done really good work on your e-portfolio. In my opinion, there are some really good areas and some others that need some improvement.

It is very easy to navigate. I liked the fact that you created a logo that is simple and easy to remember. I think it is unique that you added pages referring to Covid-19, your undergraduate dissertation and your first year. This is something I haven't seen in any other e-portfolio.

One thing that I believe needs some improvement is the theme and the colours of your website. The bright light blue can be a little annoying when it covers the whole page, especially in a widescreen monitor. Also, I think that the 'Reflections' list would look better in another position so that it is more obvious.

Good luck!

Dear Maria,

I like the design of your e-portfolio, it could work as your professional website later. You made a cute logo as well. I can see that there are unfinished parts and you are still working on it. So far, it is very easy to navigate. While reading your resume I can understand how you have come to the decision of changing your career and work with animals. I am looking forward to seeing your e-portfolio finished.

Good luck!

Hi Victoria,

The background you chose for your home page is really eye-catching, and this made me look forward to seeing your finished portfolio. I found it very easy to navigate, it is a tidy website. Reading about you I understand how you have come to the decision to follow this career.  There is a grammar mistake on the 'about me' text, you wrote a double 'to' ('leading me to to a career'). I tried to leave feedback on the relevant page but it didn't work. I liked your poster but I feel it might give the impression of an advertisement of arts rather than Vet Physio services when you first look at it. Good luck!
